Hey ladies! So this weekend it was hard to take some ootd pictures considering my photographer was working, lol. Sunday was rainy so i didn't take pictures either but i couldn't not post an OOTD picture so here is an oldie but a goodie. One of my favorite things to do is wear monochromatic clothes. For those who don't know what that is, its basically wearing different tones of the same shade of color and kind of "matching" but not really. So in my case, it was neutral light colors (whites, beige, creme, and a very faint baby pink almost creme). BTW, i was eyeing this little bag at H&M for a long time and it was over $20, but i waited so long to get it, i eventually bought it for $5 or $7 bucks. STEAL!
less edited picture, with more color showing.

& for the makeup lovers, this is pretty much the only shot i got of the makeup that day. When i do bold lips with a cat eye, i usually just do neutral shadows with matte warm browns on the crease & a matte finish beige creme color all over lid and then black gel liner.Don't forget the lashes have to look really long and full! I like usually a glowy face but a matte foundation, i don't like to be shiny, I like to be highlighted, ha ha! My lips, to be honest, i don't even remember what this is but i am pretty sure it is Lolita by Kat Von D liquid lipstick. (You reach a point in makeup obsession where you know the exact difference in all your lipsticks, that look exactly alike. #struggles #confessionsofanaddict) =)
Hey ladies! Well, today i decided to organize my makeup and lipstick drawers and thought of listing all my favorite nude lipsticks (considering i have a million of them). I absolutely love nude lipsticks, especially for day to day basis. It is just effortless and adds a touch of color to the face without being like "BAM" in everyone's face. I love all kinds of nudes but personally i like brown based for cold months and pink based for hot months. My 5 min out the door makeup is literally mascara, brows, and lipstick but that is for another post. The following lipsticks listed will be different based colored. Some will be pinky nude, or brown nude, or mauve nude. As we go on, i will let you guys know about it, the names, and if i can find prices i will let you know as well.
Nars Audacious Lipsticks in "ANNA" is a pink based nude. This is my go to every day "my lips but better" color. I know how the whole kylie jenner trend was going at an all time high and i would consider this color one of them. This lipstick runs for $32 and you can find them on the website on in store at Sephora, nordstrom, NARS, or Barney's.
Gerard Cosmetics "1995" was made in a collaboration with youtube guru Jaclyn Hill. She made this brown based lipstick inspiring again, the Kylie Jenner trend that was going on but a darker nude shade. These run for $19, but can only be bought online on gerardcosmetics.com. They always have a coupon code on instagram for discounts and bundles.
Maybelline Matte collection. These two lipsticks are a creamy matte shades. They are super moisturizing unlike liquid lipsticks, although they are creamy, they are matte and not shiny. The lust for blush, obviously by the name is a pink based nude, very subtle and simple for everyday. While Nude embrace also good for everyday, is a brown based nude but much lighterand closer to lip color. These retail for roughly $8, don't quote me on it but its drug store brand so pretty much less than $10. In my opinion this is the best brand in drug store for makeup. I usually find mine at CVS, Walgreen's, rite aide, or Target.
MAC lipsticks are if not the most popular, one of the most popular lipsticks all over the world. It is the most known brand for cosmetics that everyone craves to get their hands on, and sells out in the matter of minutes with limited edition makeup. Mac is my absolute favorite lipstick brand. Honey Love is a very faint light brown based nude. I love to pair this with a darker lip liner and create a ombre effect.Depending on your skin color, it can appear way to light and weird. Velvet Teddy is another of the kylie jenney lip trend along with Twig. Although both fit in the KJ trend, they are nothing alike. Velvet teddy is more brown based with kind of like a orangy brown feel, while twig is a pink based nude and mauve undertones. Kinda sexy i feel is hard for me to wear because it is a light nude. Makes me kind of disappear, it that makes sense LOL. It's a pinky peachy nude but comes out lighter on my lips. These make lipstick run for $16 each and are sold at MAC stores, Mac booths in macy's and Maccosmetics.com.
Bite beauty lip crayon in GLACE are creamy matte lipstick in a crayon form. Like the maybeblline ones, they are matte but not drying or shiny. The glide on like butter and feel amazing. This color is a dusty mauve color with obviously pinky undertones. The best thing is all BITE beauty products are made with 100% organic ingredients that are safe for swallowing in case we eat and it smudges on food, drinks, teeth, etc. Mine is a mini size i got at that deadly sephora "mini" section by the checkout line. It runs for $12 and was a holiday stocking stuffer but the regular size ones run for $24. You can find it at sephora stores on online.
Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipstick in Pure hollywood
Liquid lipstick have taken over the beauty world like a tornado. Everyone is coming out with liquid lipsticks and i ain't even complaining. Anastasia recently came out with these this month and this pure hollywood was a best seller for sure. Pure hollywood is a very light nude pinky color. Personally with my skin tone its a bit too light so i add whirl lip pencil by MAC around it to deepen it up and it looks amazing. It dries very matte but not over drying your lip. THIS DOES NOT BUDGE! I love this color, This is a color that can go with anyone. They run for $20 each and i recommend it because the size compared to other liquid lipsticks is actually bigger for the same price. Find it at macy's website (in store in spring 2015) or online at anastasiabeverlyhills.com
Limecrime cashmere is probably my most used lipstick ever, since i got it obviously. This is a nude color i haven't seen before. Nobody really has this "griege" color. It is a grey beige nude, grey based. It is different and amazing. It comes out different on everyones lip. Some people pull through with more browns in it, some with almost a lilac look to it, others more grey tones. It is an amazing color and i reccomend it for everyone. Everytime i wear it i use it with stone lip liner from MAC and i get tons of compliments. They run for $20 each and you can get them at limecrime.com
Denim, oh how we love denim! Well, atleast i do. I cannot live without jeans and if i could only have one article of clothing for the rest of my life it would be denim/jeans! Designers have been going all out for SS15 runway with denim outfits, from head to toe denim, to statement pieces denim. I personally started rocking denim on denim looks last year in 2014 which, if done correctly, can look really good. It is tricky but you just need the right shades and balances of denim to put the look together. I found these tips online to help you if you are struggling with it or if you could simply just use some more tips.
1. DO: Play with colors if you’re a total beginner
Before delving into shades of double blue, start out by pairing different shades of denim together, like white jeans and a blue denim jacket, or black jeans and a chambray shirt. It’s almost impossible to go wrong this way.
2. DON’T: Wear denim accessories.
Keep the jeans confined to your clothing and just say no to denim shoes, a denim hat, a denim, handbag, or any other accessory.
3. DO: Use denim shades to flatter or hide body parts.
As a general rule, lighter shades of denim draw attention to the body parts they cover, while darker washes create a slimming effect. For many women this means that dark denim jeans, and a lighter denim top or jacket is the most flattering way to go.
4. DON’T: Wear a denim outfit that’s all the same weight or wash.
You don’t want to look too matchy matchy.
5. DO: Distress.
Something about distressed denim (ripped jean shorts or jeans) just lends itself well to the denim on denim look. So don’t be afraid to rip away.
6. DON’T: Look to Westerns for inspiration.
Think of denim on denim, and images of cowboys likely come to mind, and that’s not necessarily a good thing—you don’t want to end up looking like a caricature. That means staying away from accessories like cowboy boots, cowboy hats, bolo ties, and Western belts.
7. DO: Dress up your double denim.
Don’t be afraid to elevate your outfit with luxe-looking items including statement heels, a tuxedo blazer, or a fabulous red lip.
8. DON’T: Ever end up looking like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, for the love of God.
When in doubt, just look at this now-iconic image of Spears and Timberlake from back in the day to remind yourself just how utterly wrong denim on denim can go. That being said, it’l probably be impossible for you to ever go this wrong.
HAHAHA i laughed at the last one. This was taken from stylecaster.com. Hopefully these inspiration outfits will give you an idea of how to rock this. If i can find my OOTD with denim on denim i will post it too. I love wearing denim with leopard print, because leopard is also a neautral print, it literally goes with EVERYTHING. okay so here we go:

Well, you get the picture, correct? I find it simple to dress up and dress down denim but not everyone has it easy. I have been really loving jeans on jeans, and you know what, denim NEVER goes out of style!
and finally here is me in denim =D
