hello again. I'm back and bringing you guys a new OOTD post as you can tell by the title. Remember my last post about gladiator sandals? Well I brought it back this week with an outfit, like i said i would. (For more often post on outfits, follow my Instagram it is linked on the above tab called "contact".) I saw this romper on a blogger on social media, I forgot where but I found it at HM and I just knew i had to have it. I would've worn it with heeled sandals but the occasion didn't call for it. This day was pretty breezy and chilly but I stuck through it, LOL. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH ROMPERS. I can't stop buying them, they're so comfy and easy to wear. I also can't stop wearing my gladiator sandals at all. Like I said, gladiators are THE HOTTEST things this season. I found the outfit to be a bit bland, so to add some pattern and texture I topped off the look with my leopard clutch from MANGO. Here is the outfit:
Romper: H&M || Sandals: ZARA || Clutch: MANGO || Sunnies: zeroUV
Hope you guys liked it!
Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It's not about brands. It's about something that comes from within you."
Hey babes! Today we are talking about shoes! Who doesn't love shoes, am i right? As you all probably know by now, because you have probably seen everyone and their mother's using gladiator sandals every where, you should know that it is the statement piece of the season. It was last season too but it came back again and with a bigger impact. I had first seen a BEAUTIFUL one on the mannequin of Valentino on Newbury st. Leave it to Maison to always take our breaths away. Of course i can't afford the Valentino ones, so we always opt out for cheaper look a likes. I actually have to VERY VERY close pair to the Valentino ones. One cheaper than the other but both same quality. I have a brown/ chestnut color one from MANGO and a black one from ZARA. Zara is always coming out with awesome dupes for whatever these big name brand houses have. Obviously the Zara ones were more expensive than the MANGO ones. My black Zara ones are $159 and the Mango ones were $39. The only thing is they start with size 6, so if you wear anything less than a 6, sorry! Luckily I fit in anything between 5-6.
The Zara ones are closer to the Valentino one than Mango. The reason being, it goes higher up and it has the zipper strap in the back. The Mango one is a tie up all the way. I am so happy i found these two cheaper alternatives. Have any favorites? I'll be posting looks up soon with the ones I have.
Shoes are just a pedastal. What interests me is the power of the woman who wears them.
HEY HEY GIRLS! Today is my first hair post, yay!
I'd like to start by saying that if you don't know what a "lob" is, it's long bob haircut. After my first cut, a while back I have not been able to stop cutting it. And from the looks of it, Long hair is definitely going away for now in hair trends. The first time I cut it, i actually did it a little longer than what I did today, I will post all my hair inspiration that i took to my beautiful Tina, who cuts my hair. This lob is so hassle free and low maintenance to care for. I love that.
Can i just take you back a couple years to my hair struggle? Well while my hair was long, it was so dead and dried up from heat damage. I had gone to several Brazilian hairstylist who did nothing for my hair but ruin it more. My head was literally 4 colors, I have pictures to prove it, LOL. Finally, i decided to just let grow out those bad colors so i could chop it off instead of keep dyeing it. My roots were finally long enough that i could've cut my hair and i wouldn't have looked like a boy. One of my friends, Cynthia, referred me to Tina Sullivan and I'm actually glad i took the risk. Tina fixed my hair and now it is so healthy and flowy and growing so fast, and i can't trust my hair with anyone else but her. I know pricing is an issue for people, but if there are two things I strongly suggest you invest in is, your hair and skin care. Makeup and clothes won't help if your hair and skin are trash, let's be honest. I will leave Tina's information down below if anyone is interested.
Here is better natural lighting, yes it is really blonde actually and not yellow like the top one. But the top picture came out a little darker the blonde.
Did i mention so many celebrities are spotted doing lob cuts. I'm telling you, it is super in right now. If you don't like it, girl invest in extensions lol. It' just hair, it'll grow back. Here are some beautiful lobs i found on celebs:
1. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
2. Emma Stone
3. Jennifer Lawrence
4. Kim Kardashian
5. Kristin Cavallari
6. Lucy Hale
7. Jenna Dawun-Tatum
8. Lauren Conrad
I loved all of these but none of these in particular was my inspiration for a cut. My inspiration cut came from a brasilian actress called Giovanna Embank. The minute i saw her cut with those piercing eyes of hers, I feel in love. Here it is:
So, did you guys like it? Who would dare to try? I love being risky! Enjoy :)
